Suggestions from Dunelm

BEWARE - it looks like they assume curtais will dangle below the pole.
We are using eyelet-type curtains!

In our living room the pole is just above the window. [Curtains are W=117cm and D=137cm] This makes curtains finish 4cm below the window ledge. and 12cm above the radiator. (137cm length cutains)
If (137+12)cm takes us from radiator to the window top
then (182+1)cm will take us 34cm above the window.
Not good!

Our living-room curtains have their top attachment screw level with the window-top and 5cm horizontally from the window-edge.
I suggest we continue with this but increase from 5cm to 15cm. (This will still leave the window-edge about 8cm behind the curtain-edge)
The curtains in the main bedroom now have the top attachment screw 15cm from the window edge, measured horizontally
On 08/11/2021 we have 4 curtain rods, 4 pairs of fineals and we are lacking the necessary 8 brackets to go with them
